Re: I wrote a bloat-free STL viewer

I have actually written a STL thumbnail handler – it’s as lean and fast as my viewer, and I’d *love* to distribute it! However, I wrote it for my company and I’ll need my bosses’ permission. That’ll take a while, I’m afraid :( Whooo... that would be great! have the same issue as jonny... please kee...

Re: Cura 2.6.1 is out

I just asked the firmware team why we never made the switch to the "new" marlin. As I already thought, the reason is pretty simple; It has been quite unstable (They have been working on it for 2(!) years and it's still not quite there yet). They added a whole slew of new features that are either un...

Re: Cura 2.6.1 is out

Well said neotko... CURA is the enabler - true word, and a value proposition that is perfect for companies, but also privat ones too - security. I think that UM has choosen the right strategy and I'm happy that it worked out to be the right one (because I love my UMO which I bought because of a very...

Re: Vinyl Transfer Paper Tape

I always use painters tape for transfer my cuts but that´s a reason for buying some transfer tape :-)
basically it is the same methodology as on the original UMO without heated bed so I would be interested in how the transfer tape reacts to heat applied from the bed? any findings?

Re: Has Anyone Experienced This Strange Movement?!

with latest Marlin, you mean Release 1.1.3 ?
I can´t get it running at my machine reliable - always strange things happens...
but in my case i guess, it's a typical Error80, so the guy in front makes mistakes during setup.

Re: Cura 2.6 Beta!

So again, using "dumb user" settings (recommended) and set to 0.10 Lot's of support stringing and it knocked over one of the supports. It's basic prints like this, where Cura just fails, drives me crazy. cura-fail.jpg to avoid situatuions like this I usually switch on z-hop. sometimes it helps, som...

Re: Cura 2.6 Beta!

is there an update of the beta available or is it stil the same from the first appearance?

EDIT: ok, forget it - saw that 2.6 is out now...
