I bought a SUNLU Filament Dryer S1 and put some brittle filement in it at 50degrees centigrade for 6 hours and the filament was still brittle and broke easy.

I guess a Filament Dryer does not fix brittle filament?

Those didn't impress me.

That one does look a lot better with a double wall, two rolls etc.

They have a few bundles. The storage containers are very expensive (5 for $99)...I bought some for the lab at work. They are nice and have a built in valve to pump out the air for storage

Still wondering with a good dryer does brittle filament come out not brittle?

Well I bought the Print Dry Pro and dried a package of filament from 2013. that had been sitting on the shelf. I put it in for 8 hours at 55C. After, I printed a beautiful cat food bowl holder using a 0.8mm nozzle. No issues! Now, I tend to be better about putting filament in air tight containers (https://amzn.to/3jLPVY3) and drying the material before / after use (storage).

But is it still brittle and break easily after drying in the Print Dry Pro?

Thanks. I have some brittle filament so will try it in the Sunlu but I bet it will still be brittle.

Let me know how it works out. The YouTube reviews haven't looked terribly impressive

Yahoo. The Sunlu actually works. I put it on for 6 hours at 55 degrees centigrade. It may not need that long.

Before I did the filament I could bend it once and it would break. After heating it, I just bent some over 40 times before it broke.

I just bent over some twice and first time broke at 15 bends and next one at 68 bends.

So not a wast of money after all. Looks like it works good.

Not sure if it will print any better as it was printing OK before I did it.

My first impressions of it is that the LCD was rather faint and you were pretty limited where you could place that spool.

I'm impressed you're getting good results already!

My work flow is I dry new material for 8 hours prior to print....or seal in a cereal container until I am ready to use it. Then after it has been out a while (used for printing), I dry it and seal

My LCD is not faint as it has a bright backlight.

Your backlight must not be working.

As I mentioned, I do not own one. That was the complaint from reviews I saw online
