Re: Cannot open file to read
I found the same issue. The original image was scaled way to big for most 3D printers (I think @LePaul has access to one that would print it).

Re: Old Brittle Filament
I store all of my filament in plastic totes under my printer desk (they keep warm from the furnace vent and uninsulated wall with direct sunlight behind them). When I get new filament, I keep the desiccant packs and toss them in the totes as well. Sometimes I forget and leave a spool on a printer fo...

Re: First print!
Nice first print.
Wish I had time to dedicate to my printers. Just can't free up spare cycles to clean, tune, level, and find something I want to print.

I'd see if something similar exists on Thingiverse or other similar site. Some of them even have the cad files.

Re: Happy Summer!
I've been testing some new scented filaments from Eryone. I got a whiff of scent while purging the material but not so much from the completed print. Kinda weird niche stuff, like glow in the dark materials are I have a spool of coffee filament that I bought several years ago. It has a great finish...

Re: Printer won’t print in centre of plate using Cura slicer
Sounds like you don't have the correct printer settings. Check the Cura settings for bed dimensions. Also, see if Cura has that printer listed. If not, you will need to use a 'Custom'' printer and enter the printer specs manually.

Re: Joining Team Resin...bought a Voxelab Proxima
If you can get ahold of an old computer rack cabinet with solid sides, that would be ideal. You can always cover the front and back easily enough. Build a couple of shelves for it and you could store 2 printers inside. And it won't take much to keep it warm, maybe a heating pad or a spare heated pri...

Re: Conversion to dual colours
Not an easy undertaking by any means. Do you want to do direct modifications to your system? This is really something that is a high level of difficulty with the potential of completely bricking your system. Not that it can't be done. If you are trying for separate colors in different layers like my...

Wu says “I had what we call a ‘contract marriage’ or a fake husband,”, “This is common in China for the LGBT community, It makes life go smoothly.” That would explain the form I had to fill out for my wife and I a while ago. court-ordered-spouse.png Still, I think LePaul would be good at becoming a...

The real question for @LePaul is, when are you going to be on the box art for some new printer?

Re: New User Post Limit (Mods please read)
I have only been online occasionally (usually in the mornings while waiting for my coffee to be ready). When I am on, I do a sweep and delete a LOT of spam (at least before the holidays). I did just see a spam post in a PM, which was very odd. Deleted it already though.

Also, I don't think the firmware will work with subdirectories or files longer than the dos 8.3 naming convention. Check those as well.

Re: How to improve bounding when splitting 3D print in parts
I would experiment with a smaller model first. Something like a simple wall (I have seen a lot of those for tabletop games). Something that will take very little time to print. Print a full one, then reprint in two pieces to experiment with settings.
