Please rank these printers
Hello, I am planning to buy a large volume 3D printer. I am considering: Ultimaker 3 Extended, Lulzbot TAZ 6, Raise 3D N2 and N2+, Up Box+, Creatbot DE Plus, Zortmax M300. I know that the Up Box+ has a relatively smaller build volume but it seems to be the only printer that has filter to filter out the toxic particles. Not sure how effective it is though. I also had very good experience with its smaller brother Up Plus 2.
1. How are these printers ranked among each other in terms of print quality?
2. How about ranking in terms of customer support?
3. How are they ranked in terms of noise (I plan to print at night at home)
Thank you

Well I ranked a few of the ones on your list here...
But how "large" is "large" for you? Ultimaker 3 Extended is a nice machine but not nearly as bit as Raise3d N2 Pus or a Taz6

By "large", I mean at least one dimension is about 28 cm or longer. I originally considered the Ultimaker 3 Extended but its longest axis is the z-axis. I am concerned about breaking. Besides, with that money, I could use it to buy a Raise 3d N2 Plus.

Re: Please rank these printers
Be aware that the Raise3D doesn't have autoleveling and seems to have a reputation for knocking over prints with a dual nozzle configs. I'm still reading up on them, because I do like that large, enclosed setup.
Most things I print are large on all 3 axis...so just a large z wouldn't be ideal for me. That's why the UM3 is out for me at this time

If you are into assembling yourself you could also look at the East 3D Gecko. It seems to produce good results at nice speeds.
Early models required some tinkering but I think they have addresses most of those issues. And the developers seems very responsive on FB and has offered some free upgrades also. @Neotko got one early on for review so you can check his YouTube channel.
Current model supports 300x300x300 and they seem to be working on a 500 version.
Drawback? It’s an aluminum extrusion frame so as always it can be a bit tricky to square it properly.
If I had time and need for a large printer I would buy one. But my, current, needs are the opposite

Re: Please rank these printers
East3dgecko yeah, mine is still 2 steps away from finishing installing the upgrade. So much stuff to do has delayed this build
But, with the ceramic glass they ship now the Z precision (due heat expanding/contracting the bed) now is quite impressive. I don’t have this glass atm to test but the printer now works great afaik specially because 90% of the upgrades are thanks to @gudo adjustments to the original design of belts. It could even be better with small details but if you see this facenook post clearly the quality is very good

And for almost 1 more week they are running a promotion so the heated bed version with ceramic glass is approx. $640 (free shipping at least to Sweden). Given what you get, and that @gudo has tinkered with it, that's a really good deal imo.

Has the assembly process improved? If so I might pick one up!

Yes, that’s the one.
Sorry for not linking directly.
Haven’t seen that video. But you should check the manufacturers FB group. They seem highly responsive and helpful.
It’s quite a beast to assemble...and easy to run into trouble since it is an alu-extrusion type. But if you do everything by the book you will be rewarded
Btw, I’m on my phone, and yet again I lost a post because I wasn’t responding to the latest post. You _really_ should take a deep look at that...there is no (easily) visible warning on the phone

And that video was probably made before they (and @gudo) made a lot of improvements to the printer.

I haven't seen anyone else have that problem but I'll check the php support.nilrog wrote: Btw, I’m on my phone, and yet again I lost a post because I wasn’t responding to the latest post. You _really_ should take a deep look at that...there is no (easily) visible warning on the phone
So all the printers I see are the problematic belt z ones...

Re: Please rank these printers
If you look in the feedback you will see that we discussed this before. But that was perhaps on a computer...where it is just slightly better.
This is actually the only thing I dislike about this forum software.
