Per gram of filament?

Lot's of variables, and curious how people sort that out.

Especially when you can vary the infill.

Let's stick with PLA for this question...what would you...and how do you compute it...charge?

I let Cura calculate the volume needed for the print, and use that for the price per gram when I buy a roll of filament including shipping,
I charge extra if the print has a high risk of failure rating and some time spent to prep the printer,
than charge the amount of post processing, removing support, blemishes, raft or brim.

and then go on with hours sanding, priming, painting ..........
