I'm so used to the vibrations and harmonics of the UMO...but will the Ultimaker 2 cause the lazy susan to move at all while in use?

As you say there is a little vibration but there is not really any noticeable difference with the lazy Susan and I haven't noticed it rotating
But it is very handy being able to simply rotate your printer to easly access any side. From the photos on YouMagine you can see that I have drilled a hole in the centre through which the power cable the USB cable and a USB extension cable pass, the extra USB cable acts as an extra power or accessory cable.

According to the website it has a diameter of 39 cm. But when I look at pictures of it, it doesn't look like the bearing has a hole in the center, so no clean way to run the cables through it unfortunately. Also the foot looks small, not sure how stable it would be.

Using marbles for bearings, now that's pretty cool.

Yeah, for a whole printer it is maybe too small and not stable enough. I use one for loose filament.MTVDNA wrote:According to the website it has a diameter of 39 cm. I couldnt resist trying some prints before upgrading
The robot came out pretty good. My power supply part suffers from classic UM2 under extrusion. I used Cura 2.3 Beta and all the basic settings
