Ninjaflex alternatives

Post by L67GS »

A project I've been tinkering with is one piece pneumatic grippers, and I have a plan for optical position sensing and a crude sort of tactile feedback based mathematically on pressure and position.
This works when printed with TPU but it's not as efficient as I'm hoping to achieve so if someone could recommend a softer filament like Ninjaflex that isn't as expensive (If I make this work I'll want a bunch of it) so cost effectiveness is a thing here) that would be great. This thing is actually very small, 10mm across with wall thickness of 0.5 mm in places.
Ideally I want to actuate these at or below 20 PSI, efficiency is everything so flexible material that requires less pressure to move would be great.
