Hi,
Ive been stuck on this all day .. My Anycubic Photon S wont print anything to the build plate.
Been reading up on solutions but nothing works.
I bought this machine in around 2020 and unfortunately due to moving house a couple of times this machine never got any use.
It goes through the motions of actually printing and i just get a few layers stuck to the FEP when its done.
Tried a different model thinking maybe i needed a few more layers with longer exposure at the start. Nothing.
I have all but used the resin it came with, on maybe 6 failed prints.
I levelled it three times followed the instructions and even a video.
I noticed someone on here had a similar issue and their build plate had a film on it.
But there is no protective film on the build plate or FEP. I even light sanded as per one recommendation.
Nothing.
Totally stuck.
Anybody any ideas ?

Is your resin bad?

What make of resin are you using. I found the Anycubic had a few problems and switched to Elegoo ABS like, now I get better prints.
Can you post some photos of the failed prints. Also can you do a screen shot of the part in the slicer software with supports.

Ok so it appeared the resin i was using had expired.
I got another anycubic resin, and no better.
A small square stuck to the FEP.
The model I tried printing was the amerlabs town stl
but the standard anycubic cube test file does the same thing, ie nothing.
Anycubic take an age to reply.
They asked for a video of the exposure tests, so just waiting on them now.

Re: Anycubic Photon S - Nothing Printing
In desperation i tried to level the plate using the flint read method from youtube
When moving the plate down to the FEP, it will only go so far, and no lower,
but at this low point i can still move the build plate freely by hand, it is not tight like the video.
When I try to move it lower it makes like a gear skipping noise and will not move any lower.
The paper method i can get it really tight.
I'm wondering whether i should replace the FEP, but i guess i will see what anycubic say first.
Wish i'd got the elegoo mars.

Re: Anycubic Photon S - Nothing Printing
I have only replaced the FEP once in a year. Mine was in a bad state, but still worked OK. As long as it doesn't have a hole in it or is really badly marked it should work OK. I leveled mine when I first got it and haven't touched it since, so I can't remember which method I used, only that I used a paper sheet.
Have you tried printing a simple model, the one above looks really complicated.
