Cura 4.10.0 crashes on invocation

I have been using Slic3r along with pronterface but a recent youtube video was singing the praises of Cura so I thought I would give it a try.
After installation on my W7 system the EXE does not open. It just pops up a Python error box with a bunch of issues. They can't be cut and pasted so can't be shown here.
I deleted it and was going to forget about it but decided it may be worth pursuing.
I suspect Cura is also Python based and perhaps it is hitting conflicts with parts of Python still present from the Pronterface installation.

Just wondering if anyone here may have encountered the same problem and has already found a solution or has suggestions for troubleshooting?

Sorry No::

I have been upgrading Cura from Cura 15.04.6 an have never experienced this problem.

Though have discovered that PrausSlicer the best of all slicers for me.

An by the way it is from Slic3r

I found problems with various versions. so I keep using the old version. Try a different version.

Have you posted to the Ultimaker Cura forum or Facebook group? They are usually pretty speedy

I duplicated the above post and included a screencap. There has been no response.

I have been using Cura 4.8 as version 4.9 crashes as soon as I try to import a file.
I have just installed 4.11 and I like the new interface and the way it colours the print.
