I just picked up a micro plus for $20. I repaired the extruder motor gears and had it printing again. I clicked update firmware in the m3d software and it failed and now the printer is in bootloader mode. I've tried all the fixes on their site and used the spooler program to try to update it and nothing works. It always fails with firmware failed redundancy check.
I tried m33 and it won't detect the printer at all so I'm lost on what to do.

Re: Stuck in bootloader
I'm not familiar with that model machine so I don't have any suggestions to offer. Maybe check the Anet groups on Facebook?

Re: Stuck in bootloader
When I had problems with a firmware upload, my first thought was to give up that I had trashed the board.
This however is not what I did, persistence helped me restore an old version of the firmware.
This allowed me a 2nd chance to upgrade the firmware which was successful and now is fully functional.
