Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
That's hilarious, nice find!
Friends show me all sorts of various Star Wars collectibles and seem surprised to learn...I am not a collector! I loved the R2 build and I enjoy upgrading the droid as better ideas come out. But generally, after I do a Star Wars event with my R2....I'm Star Wars'd out for a bit!

Probably not. But could possibly be remixed. Although you would lose the natural R2D2-like head shape.
Someone also asked for a R2D2-like mesh-head that could be put on top of the google home so it would look even more like the real one.

I can imagine that it takes quite a bit of effort just to keep him in good shape and attend all the events/charities.

Well, not any more. Looks like the site is being overrun by spammers.

So when you guys chide me for wanting to change forum software....remember these 20 accounts and 30 threads I had to hand shut down. phpBB is open source so the hackers clearly know how to circumvent all the safety features.

I deleted >100 posts manually since I couldn't close whole threads. I don't know if this is a phpBB issue though

Letting Moderators delete that stuff seems to be a solved issue... https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2343271
Is that enabled for Moderators here?

I think I found it! Need to go via the MCP link, not via the report notification.

How many moderators do you have? I wouldn't mind volunteering to help when I can to reduce those spam posts when they flare up.
Note that I see them on a lot of other forums I monitor (some of which I admin), several of which are not phpBB.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
I know reibuehl is one...there were 3 others but they are not active here anymore
I deleted a lot of inactive users and went through the most recent users...I wish there was an easier way to mass delete new users in the past 30 days etc
But I seem to have eliminated many
