Re: TFT coupler for UMO
You have been warned!
Because that's so cool
I always wonder why noone can advertise their cool atuff on umo forum when it actually helps, but some users can give help pointing to their shops over and over again.
Cool stuff!

Well if you ship one right away to me, I won't hit the ban button! (And if you want a section like Anders' has ...let us know...the kiosk area)

But currently I´m looking for PEEK insulators with an outside thread to assist in alignment of my two nozzles... anything in the pipe??

Re: TFT coupler for UMO
@drayson: You mean you want a peek isolator which can be screwed into the aluminium plate?
@martin-bienz: You know where you can order them... And who do you think made that picture?
@LePaul:No, that was no advertisement... take that finger away from the ban-button... As it is not my invention (well, actually it was partially, but Swordriff made it happen) no kiosk section for me is needed. But a general marketplace would be a nice thing. And I guess George will have them soon too.

Re: TFT coupler for UMO
That's a good idea...just wondering what a good name for it would be and where to place it.Dim3nsioneer wrote:

But I don't want to hijack your sales thread I'll make a post in the general discussion area

Sorry, overseen you rreply.Dim3nsioneer wrote:@drayson: You mean you want a peek isolator which can be screwed into the aluminium plate?
Ähm... similar... imagine a standard UMO head - wooden parts and a alu holder plate.
I think of a way to align the nozzle via a screwing.
First idea was to apply an outer thread to the peek, a spring between wood and alu plate and a counter nut to align the position of the two nozzles.
Currently I´m on a different idea. Widen the holes in the alu plate, cut a M22 thread into it and manufacture a small "pipe", inner diameter fitting the PTFE, outer diameter M22 with some kind of notches to be able to screw it in/out and align the nozzles this way... technically more sexy, but also more effort...
So, now you can see how weired my thoughts are
