Clear resin printing

Form 2, Form 3 , Elegoo Mars, ANYBUBIC Photon and much more....with the prices coming down, many 3D printers employing this technology are available to the masses!

Clear resin printing

Post by Lez0 »

Hi all
I needed to print some clear disks, think lenses for glasses.
My new Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra has a patterned to plate so I couldn't use that as I want to print flat to it.
I used my old Anycubic Photon as it has a smooth top plate.
The only problem is the FEP has a slight texture.
Well I almost got what I wanted.

If you cure them too long they go yellow, it's a bit of a balance as I leave them in the sunlight.
I find Anycubic the best, although I haven't tried them all.
You can always print them vertical so no problem with textures from the machines.
