CURA 5

Post by quorneng »

I have recently installed CURA 5.
No problem except that CURA 5 makes a bit of a mess of the print if "spiralize the outer contour" (vase Printing) is selected. It seems to include many internal paths as well as the internal walls which rather defeats the whole purpose of spiralize!
CURA 4.13.1 and all the previous versions had no problem doing it.
I am using the identical parameters for a perfect print in CURA 4.13.1.
See attachment

I have definitely ticked the spiralize box in both examples!
Any ideas?

13.5? Wow
I'd try a comparison between 4.13.1 and 5

Ooops!
Sorry my mistake it is CURA 4.13.1. I have edited the image.
CURA 5 still does not "Vase" print, for me at least, unless there is some setting that need changing.
