Cura 4.9 problems

Post by Lez0 »

Hi all
I have just used Cura 4.9 and I am not impressed. Anybody else used it?
I crashed trying to open a file.
The print time for the same part printed in 4.8 was over 50% longer!
1hr 49 Cura 4.8
3hrs 15 Cura 4.9
The part was 3 square boxes with 20% infill
Watching the printer it seemed the head stopped every time it connected an infill with the wall.

I'll give 4.9 a miss.

Thank you for the information Les:

I have not been 3D Printing lately as I have too many outdoor spring cleaning chores to accomplish.
although I am getting close to finishing and will give the new Cura a spin.

I forgot to save my settings and let it overwrite everything. Ugh
