Re: FT-I3 Mega Low Cost Large Scale 3D Printer
It's their version of a CR-10 it appears...and while a CR-10 costs a bit more, is assembled in 15 minutes.
And we know what a hot mess FolgerTech kits are.
Fool me once, shame on you...

Re: FT-I3 Mega Low Cost Large Scale 3D Printer
But............I am intrigued at the cheaper-than-the-CR-10 price point

Re: FT-I3 Mega Low Cost Large Scale 3D Printer
I should update this post, since I have had mine together for quite some time
Goes together pretty nicely, a few short comings...
1) No power switch, it's wired direct. I don't like that idea so I modded mine to use an FT-5 power plug/switch
2) The motors up high is just a bad idea. Those couplers can get "springy", as I noted trying to use an ABL on mine. The readings were all over the place. I'm going to try solid couplers and see if that helps.
