Trump will be way better than the moronic, overwhelmed idiot we have suffered through for 8 years. Economic stagnation for years, health care costs soaring due to his idiotic health plan ideas....the list goes on.

I wasn't crazy about Trump but anyone whose going to actually take action, versus go pretend everything is OK....yeah, let's try this.

When talking about my extruder problems a while ago with @Swordriff he mentioned that the I2K could be the source of my problem. After seeing that filament end, I finally got the motivation to take apart the hotend and check his theory. When I tried to remove the I2K from the steel coupler, it was stuck in there so hard that I couldn't even get it out! So it might be deformed and really the source of the problems.

I now used a new steel coupler without an I2K and will try to remove the I2K later...

Wow, quite a dent

I noticed the Ultimaker 2 Remove Filament method really makes quite a mess in the Bowden tube. Strings and blobs all over. So I do it manually now, heat to 200, cool to 90, push the filament release knob up and yank the filament out

Unfortunately removing the I2K seems to have not done the trick :(

I just had the same issue again when starting a print. I have no idea what else I could play with. Once the print is started - currently by manually extruding material until it flows - the print does complete fine.

You know on mine, if it is the first print on the machine, it extrudes a ton of material before the print and fine. But if it is a second print nothing will come out. I have to do the Heat Nozzle and Move Material thing to get material flowing to get subsequent prints to work.

Some times they seem to cook and become more brittle.
I used a plastic ring I had that was just a little bigger than the i2k, and then used the back end of a small drill the right size to gently push the i2k washer out. I used a small bench vice to act like a small press, this worked fine.
I also had some i2k washers that would not refeed PLA, the hole was a little on the tight side, I gently opened it up by 0.1mm or so and all was fine after this.
I going to fit my matchless head for Xmas so will fit a new i2k washer at the same time.
