Price is not an issue per say, just thinking it would make more sense if you could ship in your area and we could source within Europe.
But on the other hand if nobody in the USA wants them...

I don't have a definitive release date for the final product yet.
The first batch will probably be ready within weeks, but it is possible that most of that batch is already booked by resellers, and there are some lead time for the following batch I think.
In fact, if you want to book a nozzle of the final design, the best thing to do is probably to email 3DVerkstan info@3dverkstan.se

Regarding the remaining rubies from the test batch.
Since this is not the final product, I am not fully happy with the design and I never expected gain anything on this batch, I am not going to try to make any money on these.
However, if you consider yourself a suitable tester and want a ruby soon (for example to replace a broken one), you can potentially get one from Paul.

I am not going to ask Paul to work for free though, so it is up to him to charge a reasonable amount for the time he spends on this.
Remember though, again, that this is a prototype, not the final product!

I think we should get it over with and just release an Olsson printer... Makes more sense than naming all those separate parts partly the same

I need to design a decent hotend first, and a better version of the direct feeder.
So many things to do though and so little time..

Well, it is more that a new hotend is quite far down on my priority list right now.
The direct feeder is much higher, as is a new dual concept and in particular fixing the UM3 so it is useful for my boron carbide projects

Standard 0.4 nozzle on left. Ruby on right. See any differences?

Same temperature on both? That could explain the excess of pressure on the ruby. Also that's the old ruby right? I have some from the latest pre-final ones and they print amazing. I should do a robot test to show...

I did find that with my ruby nozzle before I sent it back that i had to print 5'C hotter,
But there looks to be slightly better definition to the chest markings.
Although the left ear (it's left ear) has problems at the bottom!

Improved air flow reduces back pressure, can be rotated and removed out of the way of the heaterhead without dismantling for easy access, and can be adjusted in the height position.

Hey Folks. I'm attempting to aggregate and unite some of the people, places, things, and companies in the 3D printing community.

Recently, I pre-ordered some nozzles from Ivan (titanium) which are almost here and DDDMaterials (kickstarter) (tungsten).

I then stumbled upon this thread and saw the work of Anders and Paul.

I am in the United States and working closely with Matt from Printed Solid and some of the more popular YouTubers.

My goal is to share some of the more exotic nozzles I've purchased for genuine reviews from the people mentioned above.

Sapphire is what is missing from my list and I wondered if any prototype nozzles are available.

I appreciate your time reading this message and hopefully a reply! It's an honor to see such giants in this community here in these forums.

I'd leave this for Anders to answer as there is a new version about to hit the market soon, if not out already.

It's late here so I don't recall the link for more info off hand. Perhaps one of the other forum members can elaborate.

Gr5 shop sells ruby and sapphire nozzles that ain't designed by Anders. That nozzles ain't the ones we have tested for almost a year some of us.

Anyhow they are hard nozzles.

Ruby nozzles from Anders Olsson are almost to be released by 3dverkstan. They should be in the market a few weeks ago but afaik they are almost there.

Sapphire and ruby is basically the same material.
Ruby has the advantage of having a distinct rather uncommon color though.
Sapphire is more difficult to separate from other transparent materials, like glass, unless you have special tools to analyze the material.

Carl appears, for some reason, to have used one of my early designs without discussing it with me and released it as his own product based on it.

And that that design had major issues with reliability and was difficult to manufacture, so it was far from ready to deliver to customers.

So Carl took your design and move it. That quite sucks, I didn't though 3dsolex would act like some China clone sellers. Really not fun at all.
