Hm, right now I'm printing at 45mm/s due to the great quality. Haven't tried to up that yet. Perhaps something to test next :P I used to print at 80-100, but that is probably way to fast for the quality I'm getting now.

The prints I am working on take 4.5 hours, so if I can push to 50mm/sec, that helps!

So far 50mm/sec at 210 looks ok

I upped the Travel speed to 200 and on the printer set acceleration to 30000

I'm seeing some of this....so I upped it to 215 for the remainder of the print. Thoughts?

Titus,

I found 45 mm/sec is a good trade off.
The next part I printed at 45 mm/sec @ 216C didn't have the above

The 50mm/sec part had a few minor blobs when I went from 215 to 220...just to see the difference.

Slower is better on a part like this :)

I agree there, 50mm/s max, increasing the temperature over 220 I have found degrades the PLA slightly, although I don't have tensile or impact test equipment to verify this.
I usually print PLA at 210, 215 with the Ruby nozzle, and 45mm/s gives a nicer finish compared to 50mm/s.
Ok so the print takes a little longer but it's a better finish.
Izzy.
