Well i didn't get to this tonight....I work my day job, then go to my part time one from 5pm til 8pm Long day!

I did manage to scroll through the documentation and see I have to remove the filament, take apart the print head and replace the teflon piece
Any tips/suggestions on this swap out before I tackle this Thursday?

Don't overscrew the 4 long screws or you will crash the coupler too hard and it will have a shorter lifetime. Or better add 4 shims between the aluminium peek holder and the wood.

You mean the aluminum plate and peek? I'm not seeing an 'aluminum peek holder' reference in the UMO manual

I assume the Original + print head is a different creature than the UMO?

Nope, just the same...

It is delivered with shorter screws and another fan shroud, but apart from that there is no difference.

Minute 6 or less. So you can review where goes what. Ofc don't do it this way. Replacing a coupler it's very easy (and undocumented).

The only weird think that can happen it's that it needs force to pull out. So remember to do a full atomics before disassembling the stuff to take out the coupler.

I'm working from home today so while listening to the webinar I removed the filament and dismantled the print head. It looks like I did t get all the filament out

You can heat the hotend to 80-90 and pull that with a tweezer.

Yeah I stuck some old Ultimaker blue in there and cleaned it out

OK....ColorFabb PLA/PHA is loaded in there....doing a test print using Anders' wrench housing.

210C , 45mm/sec, 65 on the bed ....been a while since I used plain ole PLA

Well i don't know about the blobs. I had trouble keeping the fans on their assigned setting by changing it on the Ulticontroller (keep kickin back to Cura settings that weren't right)

Well that looks like underextrusion or fluctuations on the print/flow. I Would print with a bit higher temp to remove that underextrusion lines.

But before that... What slicer did you use? Just wondering if you are using latest version with coasting on or s3d with default settings.
