Anyone with an M3D printer?

When I bought my Hictop 3DP-17, I also bought my son an M3D (he was concerned about printer size in his apartment). Since then, he has been printing a lot of things, almost non-stop.

I'll get him in here so he can post some of his pics. Hopefully others will also join and get the benefit of sharing tips in the community as much as we are with the various other printers.

Update: My son gave up on his M3D after 2 warranty replacements. It worked fine for a month, then the print head took a nose dive and embedded itself into the plastic frame at full temp. The replacement (took 2 weeks of emails before an RMA was issued) shredded its Y-axis belt on the first print. He sold it on craigslist and bought a CR-10. No more issues.

I was using it in my initial days then I sold it out. As was only good to begin.

I know a small printer, at least ready-to-go, is a big compromise as they tend to be cheap.
Making a UM2Go clone has crossed my mind...but with better electronics etc. However, making the frame is a hurdle since I lack precision tools to make a good one. So it's either buying a China frame...or making an aluminium extrusion version.

I hope you find time to assemble the Dice soon...i like it's size...but have some doubts to some of the implementation. So get started and post lots of pictures an photos :)

The UM2Go has always been one of those little printers I would have like to have had. I honestly have no use for it but with the Ultimaker build quality, it would certainly do some good prints
