Duplicator i3 Plus

Sue has been testing several different Filaments on her printer recently, PLAs in the main but also testing Fillamentum's ASA and Nylon, including their Nylon CF15 which produced an excellent print :-D , but we tried some flexible filament at the weekend with no luck as the filament exited through some gaps between the feeder and the nozzle block.
Looking at some "modifications" I wasn't that impressed so I redesigned an improved feeder back plate which I printed on the UM2 using TwoBears Tec which I was testing at the time, fitted it last night and currently have it under test printing Filamentum Flexfill.

Hi Paul, Yes, Sue is working on her 2nd video now, then she will do a short one that looks at the few mods we have done/planed to make it more efficient.
The feeder back plate mod is working well.
I'm actually quite impressed with the Wanhao, the only things I would like to improve hardware wise are
the cooling fan, it has hardly any power to cool the part.
To move the fan and duct as its in the way when viewing the build.
To add some illumination of the print nozzle as it's in the dark.

We have added a spacer to the filament holder to increase the height and I've made a little bracket to the top to allow my dovetail mounting bits and bobs,so Sue can use my large filament spool for loose filament and my mod to Roberts bearinged filament spool holder, and I've improved the fan duct, but needs a better fan :-)
