The CR10 will work with pretty much anything that can generate GCode for Marlin based printers. Not an Autocad or Inventor user, but if they can slice, you can print. Otherwise you will need to output your models as STL files and run then through a slicer (like Cura).

BTW, there is a forum on this board specific to the CR10 and other large scale printers here.

Hi
I use Solidworks. I export the files to .stl. I them import then into Cura to do the slicing and export a file that I put on a SD card that goes into the printer. You can also connect via USB using Pronterface.
I would think any 3D CAD system should be able to export a .stl file.
Does all this make sense?

Having said that I still enjoy manually operating my mill and Lathe, its supposed to be good for the grey matter!
