SD Card not being read - solution

I finished putting my printer together yesterday and I could not figure out why the printer was not reading the SD card. Took it to a friend's house who has the same printer. We put my LCD on his printer and it worked fine. Took my cables and moved to his printer and it worked fine. At that point I was going to contact them and tell them that my board was probably bad. Turns out that there is another card reader on the board near the USB port (not on his though).

Posting this in case someone else has the issue and this might save them the trouble.

This is a common mistake, the On board SD card reader takes control over the SD Card functions as if the LCD SD card reader does not exits...

Which could be a blessing in disguise as the long SD cables pickup all kind of noise, and create many other problems you will never see...
