.02 Nozzle

Post by Mr SNG »

I've just recently purchased a Hictop auto leveling desktop 3d printer prusa i3 and would like to know if it will run with a .02 nozzle fitted to it?

Your advice will be appreciated

Many thanks
Dave

It should, as long as the thread is the same (most are standardized). Nothing needs to change in the firmware either. Just change the nozzle diameter in Cura (or whatever you plan on using for slicing).

That's great news as I plan to print parts for 2mm scale. Many thanks for your reply.

just a note of caution - there are M6x1 threads at most nozzles, but there are also M6x0.75 existing e.g. at UM3 cores...
