Endoscope Mount

Post by GrueMaster »

I have made an endoscope mount from scratch in OpenSCAD for my Hictop 3DP-17. Looks really cool. It should fit any of the standard Hictop printers with 40mm extruder fan. Here's the scope I bought. Works fine in Linux, at least for my immediate needs.

I'm printing a fairly long print now, will post a link to the video later in the week.

I'd think you'd want it to be more parallel to the build plate so you can see the filament exiting the nozzle. Looks like it is printing too fast!

The video was of a small test print set on very quick. The video was real time (not edited).

And this was my first creation. I may redo it to change the angle, but it was based on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1626709 (visually - I started from scratch in OpenSCAD).

I may redo it at some point, but it is fairly close to seeing the filament as it comes out.
