White shows everything!

I have all three Ultimaker 2+'s working on the BB-8 dome (broken into thirds) and using ColorFabb standard white

First layer 220 All remaining layers 210

And white is just brutal at looking awful!

But whatever ugliness should be sanded away

19 hours to go!

It's really fun when you overheat it (210 does it for me). You get burn streaks, and (at least in my case) oozing around the heater block that drips on the print. 200 is fine for me.

My first layer goes on at 220 and then 210 for the rest, with the fan eventually working its way to 100% near the end

It's just weird how you see these odd little artifacts here and there

My first 'fun' issue with white pla was after printing spool holders for all of my spools, I switched to Meltink Glow Aqua Blue. As a fun test, I printed 3D Benchy, after manually purging the white until only the new filament came out. Mid print (port main deck near the cabin door), the printer dumped a blob of white that immediately hardened in place before I could yank it with tweezers. The printer kept going, jumping over that section (actually forcing the bed down on the springs) until it was blended in. Now, the deck looks like a seagull flew overhead. It also bled through the side.

When swapping filaments, types and colours, only several atomic pulls get rid of all the old filament.
I was testing a Carbon fibre filament and it took 19, yes that's 19 atomic pulls with white filament until I was sure there was no Black coming through.
