Last trip to Baikonur in 2017 (Beware! Huge traffic!)

Post by ivan.akapulko » February 12th, 2017, 11:45 am

During the last trip in the beginning of the month I had one free day before leaving. And considering that to Baikonur was only 270 kilometers on a beautiful road, the decision was obvious.

Despite the lack of time, I did fresh photos from the cosmonautics Museum (where the exposition of new models, particularly a full-size copy of the platform "Sea launch"). In summer during the holidays I hope to get to the rocket launch and rollout from its hangar.

P.S. Paul, how to rotate pics? :-?

Yes, I know about it. In that hangar, according to my information, now there is no access to visitors. But maybe i can try to ask someone to take a couple of pictures, in which state Burans now.
