It seems every time I have a little money put aside for the 'new printer fund', something happens.
This week, it is my refrigerator. Over the past few weeks, I noticed a 'clunk' sound when the compressor stopped. I pulled the refrigerator out, made sure all vents were clear...not pet hair or anything in the way. No...all clean.
Just a 17 year refrigerator reminding me that it's final days are near.
I really miss just spending money carelessly

Oh no! Mine was leaking water a few years ago...it turned out to be a clog in the drain in the machine itself, which was an easy fix.

My washing machine door lock broke, and considering it had lasted 15 years, I did not complain. Until I found out what it would cost to repair. The engineer wanted 135 monies just to show his face, never mind the parts. So I gulped, bought the lock for almost 90 monies and repaired the thing myself. Then for some damn fool reason the kids want feeding as well. Every day! Madness.
