Currently in Brussels...
13 dead and 35 people hurt from the attack on the airport and no data yet related to the explosions in the metro stations.
Pfff.... wtf is going on? Still scared that we're not through yet and wondering how to get back home tonight.

Re: Brussels
I read that this morning when I came to work, and i'm praying for you all in Brussel that nothing more will happen. It is already horrifying
I'm scared about where the world is heading. Reading/watching the news makes you feel like you should stay at home and never go anywhere...and still that might not be enough to stay "safe" from actions like this

Re: Brussels
Right now it is a bit of chaos in term of information, and all sort of rumors are out...
But as a matter of fact, a lot of buildings / public places are evacuated and public transportation has been stopped.
Circulation on the 'ring' is currently fluid in both direction (I have a direct view), so if you manage to get out of the city center there shouldn't be much issues (unless you are there with public transportation )

Re: Brussels
It's awful. Also saw this on the news today. A couple of thoughts on this: law enforcement is simply unable to control the huge stream of people arriving in the EU from the South. With them come such moral monsters, blow up all in a row. I can't judge clearly, but I think that the politics make too much tolerance and multiculturalism, jeopardize the indigenous population.

Re: Brussels
I'm in the center of Brussels atm and arrived here via public transportation. My train actually drove past the airport about 10 minutes before it happened. My wife and I both work in Brussels and come by train. I booked a hotelroom because I'm fairly scared that we'll never make it home tonight otherwise.
Re: Brussels
My thoughts are with you, fellow Belgians. I know all too well what are you going thru.

Re: Brussels
Just saw the news, hope you guys are safe.
I recall all too well how the morning of 9/11 felt
Trump....do like i do, ignore him. He appeals to people's fears and insecurity. (I like Ted Cruz)
How much of these problems are related to the massive influx of refugees, if at all?
It's sad we live in a world where religious fanatics will target innocents.
