Hi,
my name is Roland, having an ultimaker 2.
I bought this machine to make parts for my model planes.
The actual project is a cowl for a Vought Corsair AU-1.
It is quite big with 250mm diameter and has 8 pieces.

Greetings Roland

Nice to find some interesting things on the forum... soon (I hope) I will try PBI for replacing PTFE isolator... just finishing the new Aluminium bronze nozzle...

Hi Neotko,
here more about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_bronze

Next alloy I will try is Copper CuBe4 (beryllium cobalt) perhaps is better than Aluminium Bronze alloy for a more uniform thermal propagation

EDIT! sorry a mistake on the alloy symbol :-D it is a Copper Beyllium (CuBe2) alloy (not a copper-beryllium-cobalt... as I wrote above)
even if exists ;-)

I personally don't have a HICTOP but in the section where you posted, you should find some experts.

Chip Luck is the guru with that machine, I'll send him a message on Facebook to remind him he has some activity in his area :)
