Sort of an SLA printer but they've optimised the process not to need a swipe after each layer and allow for much faster printing by using a projector.
Seems they have special resins as well, both 1 and 2 stages, to determine the mechanical properties.
According to their claim the pieces are production ready and the video seems to confirm that.
It's tested, so a lot of bla bla, but well worth a look:

Re: Carbon M1 on Tested
Using a projector to print is not a new thing, DLP machines has been around for years.
Their technique is based on controlling how much oxygen penetrates a special membrane, to inhibit curing in a micro thin layer and therefore not need the "peel" process which takes a lot of time on conventional bottom-up sla printers.
The most intresting thing to me is their material research, with two-stage thermoset plastics, so they first print it into shape, and then put it in a oven to trigger a thermoset reaction, which makes parts allegedly much stronger than traditional SLA.

Never claimed it was new
They just made it work better and faster.

That line made it sound like the DLP projector was the invention, which it really isn't.Blizz wrote:"allow for much faster printing by using a projector"
