50W Ceramic Cartridge 12/24V Heater For J-Head 3D Printer

I ran across A 50W Ceramic Cartridge 12/24V Heater For J-Head 3D Printer on E-bay.
So I decided to ask the question, would there be any benefits in using and would the controllers circuit supply the current to this hot-end heater.
Or would it be necessary to increase the power rating of the hot-end mosfet in order to allow for the changed power rating.
It could be that with the additional 10 watts of power we could get the the heat requirements for some specialty filaments.
