3D Printing Forum

Okay, so I got a 3D Printer from my brother recently that he originally bought from someone. he's had it for a year or 2 now, so I wanted to start from square one with updating firmware/configuration, so on.. the problem I'm running into is we don't know much about it other than it says it's a Prusa i3, and has a Tronxy Melzi 2.0 v5 board. I can't figure out which direction to go as far as firmware, configuration.h, etc. I'll leave pics of the printer and board down below in hopes to maybe identify the hardware I have and/or software I need. I have arduino installed on my pc and tried using Marlin but get nothing but errors when trying to compile a sketch based on a few videos I've watched. it seems like I'm getting nowhere with it so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
