... for allowing me to become a member of this excellent forum!
In the 3 years since I invested in my UM2 for prototyping various mechanical contraptions, I have finally escaped from the unusable 'updated' Ultimaker Community Forum. I wondered where everybody had gone... and here you are!
I look forward to sharing ideas and experience with you guys - I have already seen lots of fascinating threads and posts here, and only hope that I can contribute to the same standard.
Cheers,
Jeff

Re: Hi Folks - thanks...
Welcome, Jeff
Thanks for stopping by. When I started the forum, it was my hope to simply offer another place to talk about our favorite printer brand.
I still find the Ultimaker forum terribly slow and extremely painful to navigate around the various topics and threads in there. I know Ultimaker is working on it. Many of the Ultimaker team are frequent visitors here. Some post, some prefer to just browse and follow the topics.
I still consider myself an Advanced Newbie and was thrilled to see many of the advanced users find there way here. Many of those people have shared a lot of incredible information.
As I like to tease Anders...he helped encourage me to do this, so this is partially his fault too!
But we're having fun, the mood is light and we all share a passion for learning about 3D printing.
