Just don't whip out the Betamax, 8-track, or Laser Discs, old man.
(born in 68, so I can say that with a smile).

I will add the Reel to Reel, 9-track NRZI Storage drives, 5 1/4" and 8" floppy disks. Centronis 779 line printer with a variable control to chance charters per line. For those of you who did not have one. The Centronics 779 line printer on the back Had a (adjustable "let's say volume control knob" control that would adjust the line length for 80 characters per to 150 characters per line. And if you wanted a different line length you had to manually guess adjusting it.
Not even worth a mention in wikipedia or Britannica. oooops!!!!! letting out the secret of my age now.
Let's not forget the SWTPC 6800 Computer System introduced by Southwest Technical Products Corp. of San Antonio, Texas in 1975.
A kit computer we put together that became discontinued in 1980. The first program I ever wrote was on this computer.

Ha ha
Well we have a local Sears Department store closing here and they are selling items at very low prices to liquidate merchandise. They are also selling display stands and other equipment. One display stand held large table saws, miter saws and drill presses. I was able to purchase that stand (it is 4ft x 6ft)...it is now in my basement and three printers are on it now...fourth (CR-10S) will go up soon, once I unbox it. #5 arrives Friday (Tevo Tornado) and that should fit there too!

Seems a shame.
All that empty basement space I mean. You should fill it with printers.
Seriously, you can make a nice recording studio there for your video tutorials, etc.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Well let me liven up the conversation a little bit...
So some of you were kind enough to mention my videos are improving some in quality....it's been a year of doing the channel and a lot of little investments along the way. Better lighting, different microphone types and learning how to better use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, After Effects and other things!
Here's my latest video showing some of the lighting and microphone setups I've purchased, used and my thoughts on them. Perhaps helpful if you guys opt to get into making more videos

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
I'm always amused when people learn my nickname I don't mind it one bit...growing up, I was always P.J. (short for Paul Joseph...when I heard that, I knew the catholic school nuns were out for me!). But many of my friends seem cautious to call me P.J. ...thinking Paul is more mature. I could care less!
Yes, that LED shop light is awesome on my head, isn't it? But what a great deal those things are. I bought 3. Each is 4 feet long.

Wow. Just saw a couple times, how people tag you on a FB like that. Too personal? Or its a specific to catholic schools type of naming?
LEDs are awesome. Under them you really looks like a saint one) Whats a model?

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
No...when I was born my Dad was away at Army basic training.
Paul is my first name, Joseph is my middle...and my Mom just took to calling me P.J. I went to Catholic School K-6 and around 4th grade, the teachers (nuns) felt I should be using my first name and not my nick name. So, to appease them, I did. But the rest of my world knew me as P.J. When I started working my first jobs, they preferred Paul and that's how it has been since. But as you see on my Facebook, many of my friends will use my nick name. Some worry and think P.J. would be wrong to use...I tell them to call me whichever they prefer.
I mean, eventually it will be Mr. President
