Safe travels, Anders!
Wow, an RC race track? How neat!
I spent a lot of time on the CNC machine. We had high winds Sunday and sure enough, 99% into one part, the power flickered and rebooted the computer on me. We dug out the UPS/battery backup from the shop (we'd been using the 12v battery to power our various Arduino projects) and hooked that up. No more issues after that!

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
Just soldered my first PCB with more than one BGA part on it. Hand-placed components, and soldered in a chinese grill oven...
Seems like it's working, but it'll take some time to get everything tested.
While this one was for work, it's also a step forward in getting my FPGA 3D printer controller from paper into reality.

Do all those homes float away at high tide?
Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
I hope not...
I september they are going to a winter location because the sea and wind can destroy everything.
Last year we got a storm of 11 Bft. in July and some houses were damaged.
This photo is from last year March, one week before my house was placed (the yellow house is my neighbor)

You have solar power? Or another neighbor?
Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
yes, my other neighbor (sister) has. It is used for the fridge, lamps and charging phones, ebooks and such. My fridge is on propane gas and I can charge my stuff next door. Still like the simplicity of being there, no computer work, just a bit of email and weather consultation...)

Well, I just ordered 2 more from 3DSolex: a 1.0 and a 0.15, so that'll be taken care of shortly (at least partially)
