STP to STL issue

I'm having an issue from STP to STL after I performed a modification of the STP file of: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/uliti ... erlin-ubis

Just to be clear, when I open the original STL in Cura it looks like this (look at the transition curves):
correctstl.jpg
The issue is quite weird as after I modified this STP, in my CAD (Alibre Design) it still shows correctly in the software.
Here's a rendering of the modified STP in Alibre:
stl rendering.jpg
But once I export this as STL and open it in Cura it looks like this (notice the difference in the transition curves):
curastl.jpg
The issue is then that this problem is reflected into printing (comparison of original print vs modified file print):

Black is the print from the first stl and purple is the one after the stp was modified.

I believe there is something going wrong in the STP to STL conversion.
Any clue?

My modified STP file can be found at: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/p-i-n ... -ultimaker

Hum,

I found out this seems to be an issue with Alibre itself in the conversion from STP to STL, but I can't find where I can change the rendering options for exporting...

I'll try importing it this afternoon, what modifications were you doing to the part?

I added a slot for the PINDA probe.
I could do a perfect rendering with FreeCad, yet I'm unable to understand what was the exact issue with Alibre.
Do you use Alibre too?

Hi, no I use SolidWorks for the modelling, and S3D for slicing
