So for the owls, I went from 225C to 220....that seems to help some. Perhaps it's a matter of finding the sweet spot with the Ultimaker brand filament and the ruby

Yeah your Ruby generates pressure. The new model has that fixed and it doesn't need more temp anymore (at least 1.75 version I use).
