Tips on Post Processing

After breaking off supports or sanding, I usually use a lighter to heat up the plastic to remove the white discoloration on my prints.
Searching around, I'm seeing others using small butane torch or heat gun to refine the print. Any thought?

I'd be really careful with an open flame but heat guns are good at getting the hairs off a stringy print

Thanks a lot Le Paul for your input. Hopefully i will get better results with the heat gun.

It's a lot like soldering and shrink tubing. A heat gun shrinks it up nicely. An open flame scorches it and you're left with brown/black heat shrink :)
