3.3.1 Cura takes an hour longer!

Post by Lez0 »

I have just upgraded Cura to 3.3.1
I have a bezel 283x184x18.5 in PLA.
I have some custom setting, but nothing too strange.
In Cura 3.2.1 it takes 8 hours 4 minutes.
I Cura 3.3.1 with the same settings it takes 9 hours 10 mins, according to Cura, which is usually pretty close to guessing the time.
Why an hour longer to print?
Has anybody else noticed this.

Because certain settings might have changed. We constantly tweak settings, but it's impossible to have settings that improve things for everyone.

Count yourself lucky !

Do a print with S3D...the print time is about 20% off...it takes a lot longer!

I reported the issue and it seems to have been resolved, it didn't take long.
It's just as well I left version 3.2.1 on the PC when I upgraded to 3.3.1,
I can use the older version to get quicker prints.

ps I wasn't complaining I was just letting everyone know
