Except the article is wrong ;) Hexagon is not the fastest by a long shot. Especially not if you have machines with heavy heads, as for those the acceleration and de-acceleration is "expensive".

Well so far "lines" has proven the strongest on the testing I have done. Triangles and tetrahedral blew up without much effort.

I had been using grid in my BB-8 frame pieces that are failing
