Thats sad... can you do me favor, are you on windows? If yes, close cura, go to your local appdata folder (start, run, %localapdata% and enter), rename the cura folder to cura.old or similar. Then start cura again. It should start with default settings. Try again...

It failed again, but I think it's the virus protector.
I use Pandasoft, it asked permissions etc when installing but then quarantined a file when it ran again, I think I have now allowed the necessary files with permissions.
I will let you know if all ok over the next few days.
Cheers, Izzy

I hadn't thought of that...I run TrendMicro since Symantec was a nightmare for years, hogging up resources

thanky for the hint. Tried to test switch from "all at once" to "one at a time" and the strange thing is, the print area height is reduced drastically (blue box)...
Has anybody else seen this?

Youp, exactly what happend to me. My "default" is to print one object after the other, so coming from 15.x I changed that setting in 2.x also. If you do that you get that blue box (basically that was there in old cura also, but it just told you something like: "Object is to high, switching to print all at once"). Now that is a pain in the but if you only print one object... right :).
