I have a Creality CR 10s and using Cura 4.5.0
I have excellent print quality if I print on a raft, otherwise I get this horrible mess. The bed is level, and the raft prints perfectly as does the part on the raft. I cannot print directly on the bed and sure it is a Cura setting that is causing the problem. Any pointers would be appreciated

Looking at you image of a printed model.
I see that you are starting your print too high above the bed, when you start printing at the correct height you will get a better printed model.
