MatterHackers Black PRO Series 3.0 mm Filament

Post by LePaul »

Just wanted to share...I bought a roll of MatterHackers Black PRO Series 3.0 mm Filament when they were having a sale a couple weeks ago.

It's good stuff! (https://www.matterhackers.com/store/3d- ... ent-3.00mm)

I know many of us are wary when a filament brand pops up and we wonder whose had luck/bad-luck with something.

The print range is 185-200 and I found it does print really nice at 200 on my machine, and even a bit lower.

I haven't tried any of the other colors, but since this stuff was on sale at the time, it wasn't money wasted.

It's a lot like the Ultimaker Blue PLA in that the result is very very glossy.

Just an update to this thread....

Bought the Yellow version and that prints beautifully! It's a little bit of an opaque yellow and resembles the Mountain Dew soft drink in color coming out of the print head.

No complaints at all, I was really impressed how nice it printed.
