Any better or worse than the Ultimaker PVA?

I wonder...would this work on any dual extruder machine?

They published some info of it working quite nice on um3. The material like most solubles atm has the same issues of pva. E3D do less ambient water absorbing but still you need to give it love. Also the material can burn like pva on the nozzle if left too much time (so um3 BB core is just perfect for this material).

IMO looks promising but nothing comes without issues in the 3d printing world.

True, I see a lot of mentions of sealing the filament for printing, such as that container/box on YouMagine.

So I emailed ColorFabb and asked what their chemists were working on in relation to PVA and the sort.

I got a nice reply...

Thank you for contacting us. Yes, we are working on a material that will have these functions, but this is still in a development stage. We hope to release such a material in 2017, though.

Best regards,
