I have no problem with my Cartesian printers, though if I have too do it all over again would think seriously about CoreXY.

I would not get rid of the filament yet, instead purchase a new roll to see it the problem continues on new filament roll,

Most of your problems can be solved by simply installing the newest version of Prusaslicer. Then using the menu install the Proper configuration profiles. Sorry to hear this. I found that PrusaSlicer works so well that in my opinion it was well worth this simple conversion effort.
Still use Cura on many projects though in some special cases prefer using PrusaSlicer.
