Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware
Guys, I don't want to interupt your discussion, just a quick question
When my UMO is printing and I issue an M600 (serial), is this what happens also? Or is this only with Amedee special FW?

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots
What about the 'Korneel' method (burning all residues with a microflame burner)? I from time to time put the nozzle in a pan with cooking water, leave it there for a while. As it boils, the nozzle jumps around an releases the residues (a bit) after that, while still hot, I clean it with a needle an...

Re: OctoPrint
For the enclosure, I was reluctant to mount it on the printer (due to the vibrations), so it is just sitting there (see pictures)... Had no issues so far, I mounted it to the frame since 2 years without a hicup. Now that I think about it, rubber / ninjaflex mounts for the pi itself would be a good ...

Re: Cura wish list
A few remarks / questions: - UMO's heated bed is visible, thanks! :) - ultimaker_original.json has in machine_start_code: ".." G1 F200 E6 ;extrude 3mm of feed stock "..", I like the 6mm but the comment should be adjusted - the installation did not restore my .stl association in c...

Re: OctoPrint
I mounted it to my umo as you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=139#p1435
This is one of my unreleased projects. It can be adjusted and comes with a mount for the raspi cam.

Re: OctoPrint
That's a hoax -- I never had a print failure through USB. Well, Ultimaker stopped supporting it because of too much problems with it, probably most of them caused by external factors like poor quality cables, computers that went to sleep or locked up doing something else, power spikes etc, but most...

Re: OctoPrint
The Pi 3 has built-in wifi and bluetooth which is good for OctoPrint as you will need most probably Wifi but apparently the Pi 3 gets hotter which might be an issue depending on where you mount it. From the CPU performance, you will not need a Pi 3. Would be carefull at the moment with built in wif...

Re: Cura wish list
**Edit** Nevermind guys; It is online. The issue we had is only triggered when slicing very big (volume wise) objects with ultra high setting with high infills. So if the slicing freezes, just nudge the object and let the reslice do it's work (or restart if it reaaaly refuses to restart) thanks! Bu...
