This evening's video

I cool to 90C then pull on my Atomic Pulls
(Also whenever I remove filament from my Ultimaker 2, I use the Heat Up Nozzle to 200, then down to 90. Then I lift the feeder handle and yank it out)

I checked that a while back, wondering if they wanted any help from this side of the pond. I know they have some UM staff in New York City. And I met many of them and enjoyed them. One told me to send a BB-8 part so I could see how well the new UM3 prints it. So I did. And never got a reply to that ...

I won't post the list of donations, I'd like to respect their privacy. Even the ones from UM HQ

I just had my UMO apart to replace the hot end and checked the electronics fan while wiring in the heater. It still has that initial rattle at start up but seems to quiet down after 30 seconds. I should think about replacing mine too

I know Fabrc8 will want big $ for a real board...and then there's the matter of upgrading the print head...or just upgrade to the UM2+ Extruder upgrade. Figure in $399 for the board, $399 for the extruder upgrade...and well, that's probably money better spent on another UM2+

I've wondered that and didn't dare add fuel to the fire by asking :) It seems like the are continuing to put out fires but making new ones. (But that's software, right?)
