Some people are just plain ignorant.
Anyway, that will look nice in a year or two. We did the same journey about 5 years ago. Still not finished with everything

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
I got logged out yesterday...I think it has happened twice, or maybe three times since I joined here. It happens in other forums also so i'm not sure it related to the forum. Could be a weird browser issue. This is on a work laptop connected mostly to a corporate network, and occasionally at home (W...

Re: Now this is a Saab I would love to have
SAAB has made a lot of great airplanes
But my favorite of them all is the "Draken", also capable of the Cobra maneuver:
What makes me sad is that once upon a time we had one of the biggest Air Forces...now only a tiny piece remains.

Not so flexible, flexible filament?
Is there a "flexible" filament that isn't so flexible?
Something that is almost as ridgid as PLA, ABS etc. but with a surface that has like a "rubbery" feeling.

Re: Airbrush: What to look for?
Yup, a regulator that also takes care of moisture, or a separate moisture filter, is a must.
And as Phil said, avoid the non-branded models. I bought one when I was young and spare parts was non-existent

Re: Airbrush: What to look for?
Put a regulator before the airbrush. I would also second the need for a tank.

Re: Airbrush: What to look for?
I'm kind of in the same boat :) I have been looking at this one. It does require that you have a compressor, which I have. Unless you go for a kit, but then the price goes up. http://airbrushshop.daveart.com/neo-for-iwata/812-neo-for-iwata-cn-hp-cn-e-airbrush.html It seems to get good reviews when I...

Re: Cura 2.1 open beta
Well, the last case is not OSX specific if you are reusing the settings folder for the old legacy Cura ;) OSX, in this sense, is no worse than Windows. And there you went to great lengths to put it's settings in a different location than "~/.cura/". PS: OSX is not bad...it's the Mac App st...

Re: Pros and cons um2 hotend vs umo
Shouldn't all 4 spacers be of same height? I haven't yet assembled mine so I don't know exactly how it looks. But from your pictures it looks, to me, like the alu-plate is not high enough in the courners so if you tighten it all you squash the coupler? If you had 4 spacers with the correct height th...

Re: Cura 2.1 open beta
Aha, sounds like this might be a more serious issue then than just having the folder in the "wrong" place.

Re: Cura 2.1 open beta
Ok, that's bad if that is the case. You know more about the legacy versions than me. But afaik, on the Mac the legacy Cura had their folders in the proper Mac location, and separated by version (~/Library/Application Support/Cura/15.X.Y/). I wrote a ticket on Github about that and they said they wer...
